KAMPONG CHHNANG, CAMBODIA

Just a few short weeks ago we returned from our 3rd trip to Cambodia. We feel very strongly that the Lord has spoken to our hearts, to serve along side of our missionary friend, Lidia Zelaya, and plan to do so until He tells us otherwise. Lidia is a long-time friend of ours from El Salvador, where we served as full time missionaries for several years. She is raising up youngsters, as disciples for Christ, and doing a wonderful job. She is also teaching them English, which is such a great asset in foreign countries. We were honored and blessed to be able to visit 6 different villages on this most recent trip, teaching good hygiene practices, such as, proper hand washing, and teeth brushing. Every child/family, were given a bar of soap and toothpaste and brushes to take home. We also were able to conduct a small wellness clinic, where Tim and Steve assessed several adults, and sent them home with over the counter necessities, such as: Tylenol, vitamins, and antacids, to name a few......just basic meds that our common to most of us. What a blessing for us to be able to bless so many, and share the love of Jesus with them! 

We are praying and partnering with Lidia, to see her vision of a new school being built, so that she can teach more effectively. Right now she is renting a small building that is shared by another family, and does not have ample space. Please pray with us that the funding continues to pour in. Our home church, Victory Christian Center, Coitsville, has taken a step of faith, and is committed to seeing this project completed, as well. Donations can be submitted here, as well.
